Why donate?

The Stowe Pickleball Club is a necessary creation which arose from the lack of municipally, aka partially taxpayer funded, pickleball infrastructure here in Stowe. We are working hard to change this, and we are petitioning to have taxpayer funded courts available for public use in 2022. So, up until now, the SPC has shouldered the majority of the financial burden of making pickleball possible in the greater Stowe community. We are also advocating for a very ambitious Stowe Pickleplex infrastructure proposed to be built by 2025! Because of these variables, hopes, and dreams, we ask members to contribute a small amount of money each year to help subsidize the thousands of dollars of expenses that would have otherwise come from one or two people’s personal savings.

Our updated 2022 membership structure is now operating on a donation-based sliding scale. Here’s how it works:

Please donate what you are comfortable with. The following are some suggestions:

$0: I love pickleball and am just not looking to donate right now (no judgement!).

$15: I’d like to try this sport out and would like to support the ongoing ambitions of the Stowe Pickleball Club.

$25: I’m a pickleballer and want to play regularly and would like to support the ongoing ambitions of the Stowe Pickleball Club.

$30-$50: I’m a strong supporter of all things pickleball, recognize all of its benefits, and want to support SPC’s ongoing efforts here in Stowe.

$100: I want to be a 5-star gold member of the SPC and am happy to generously donate. Thank you soooooo much for all that you’ve already done, and what I know the SPC will continue to do in 2022 and beyond!

Remit donation of your choosing by check*:
